ABOUT YOUR MELBOURNE-BASED COACH

Hi, I’m Jane!

I’m passionate about transforming the lives of people with ADHD and helping them overcome their challenges.

As a mother, teacher, and human being with ADHD, I get it. I was diagnosed later in life, and I have two kids with ADHD. I know what it's like to deal with the daily chaos, the emotional ups and downs, and the sheer exhaustion that comes with it.

I've seen my kids struggle in an education system that often feels like it’s asking a fish to climb a tree. It’s tough watching them try to conform to expectations that just don’t suit their unique ways of learning. I understand the frustrations and fears that come with these challenges, both as a parent and as someone who has walked a similar path.

My lived experience fuels my passion for helping others. I am committed to providing support, understanding, and practical strategies to empower individuals with ADHD and their families. Together, we can turn these challenges into opportunities for growth and success. Let's work together to create a brighter future where ADHD is seen not as a hurdle, but as a unique strength.

Compassion and Knowledge

My professional background and lived experience equips me with the tools to help clients develop effective strategies and uncover their strengths.

My journey and vision

My journey as a mother of two neurodiverse children has profoundly shaped my approach to coaching and education. I have firsthand experience of many of the common challenges of keeping children with ADHD engaged in their learning, such as navigating school refusal, emotional outbursts, friendship dramas, and teachers who saw them as bright but lazy. I have made it my mission to help educators understand that all children have a desire to learn and reach their potential, if only we could see beyond the behaviour and look at what is stopping them from moving forward. I truly believe that if we collaborate with our children in decisions around their learning, focusing on their strengths, then we can help them become the person they are able to be.

My approach - empowering excellence

In addition to my coaching practice, I have over two decades of experience teaching English to migrants at the university level. I specialise in teaching study skills, organisation, and planning, as well as other executive functioning skills. My work with students of all ages has prepared them for university and the workforce, equipping them with the skills needed to succeed.

My personality is grounded in kindness, authenticity and a love of learning. I prioritise positivity and empathy in my coaching practice. My approach is to empower clients through education and personal growth, helping them uncover their strengths and achieve their goals.

I work with most of my clients online via zoom, however am also open to meeting face to face if you are located in Melbourne. I also consult with schools and universities in person or online.

Whether you’re struggling with ADHD, navigating life changes, or seeking better study skills, my goal is to help you transform your overwhelm into calm and clarity. Together, we can uncover your strengths and create a fulfilling, successful life. Let’s work together to make your life the best it can be!
